GO 'Get Out Now' function
The GO button is a powerful trading tool that when used properly can 'lock in' a guaranteed profit for you.
If you have spotted a selection is trending up (odds going higher) you place a Lay bet first. When the Back odds rise higher than the Lay odds you placed your bet at, you can click the GO button and it will calculate the correct stake for your 'counter bet' and place it as a Back bet for you.
Conversely, if you have seen a selection that is 'trending down' (odds getting lower), you place a Back bet first. When the Lay odds have fallen below the Back odds you placed your bet at, you can click the GO button and it will again calculate the correct stake for your 'counter' Lay bet and place it for you.
EXAMPLE 1 - Rising Odds
You place a £100 Lay bet at odds of 4.
The Back odds have now risen to 5 so you click the GO button.
The Back stake is calculated by GO as (4 divided by 5) x £100 = £80
This creates the following outcome:
If selection Wins:
-£300 (£100 Lay bet @ 4) +£320 (£80 Back bet @ 5) = +£20
If selection loses:
+£100 (£100 Lay bet @ 4) -£80 (£80 Back bet @ 5) = +£20
EXAMPLE 2 - Falling odds
You place a £100 Back bet at odds of 5.
The Lay odds have now fallen to 4 so you click the GO button.
The Lay stake is calculated by GO as (5 divided by 4) x £100 = £125
This creates the following outcome:
If selection Wins:
+£400 (£100 Back bet @ 5) -£375 (£125 Lay bet @ 4) = +£25
If selection loses:
-£100 (£100 Back bet @ 5) +£125 (£125 Lay bet @ 4) = +£25
